LITTLE MOMENTS OF BLISS

This Piano art celebrates tiny moments of bliss in all its forms whether it is the cute daisy growing through the pavement, the bright Dahlia popping up in someones front yard or a beautiful piece of music being played nearby. When I visit Marrickville I am struck by how lush and colourful the front yards are and wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate that and to bring these spontaneous, colourful plants into the new Marrickville Metro. Featuring flowers and plants found in Marrickville’s gardens like Roses, Dahlias, Daisies, Sunflowers, Cosmos, Nasturtiums and olive branches. I’ve developed a sensitivity to the way our environments affect our bodies and our minds so by painting oversized, abstract flora in soft and vibrant hues, I want to transport people to a place somewhere between a playground and a meditative space. My previous pieces have been described as ethereal and dreamy.
